Soils: Shallow, somewhat salty and fairly permeable in the lower areas.

Grape varieties: Fruity whites and young reds that don’t need ageing. Amongst the whites are Chenin, Toca Friulano and Ugni Blanc. Amongst the reds are Bonarda, Malbec, Barber and Sangiovese.
