Needless to say we place a lot of importance on accommodation and place our clients in the very best 5-star lodging to be found in Mendoza.    But often reserving rooms in luxury hotels and wine lodges is not enough. We also book far ahead to ensure that an appointment with the Hyatt masseuse materializes or that dinner at Club Tapiz´s fabulous restaurant Terruño becomes a reality too. In the high season it is often impossible to obtain either at short notice.

 

For all our tours we pay the greatest attention to detail and try to anticipate problems before they happen and all our guides are fully fluent and well trained in all aspects of wine and hospitality. With Super Premium we go the extra mile. We offer in-depth presentations on Argentine wine, past and present with comprehensive tastings of all the major varietals. We have even been known to display soil samples from the different sub-regions for more exacting clients. As well as arranging lunches and dinners with owners and winemakers, we also organize meetings for business minded clients with property consultants, agronomists and real estate developers.

 

But mostly our tours are all about fun. We were the first company in Mendoza to provide private flights over the vineyards and Andes. We even arrange high altitude flights over Mount Aconcagua.

 

Being the most widely know and trusted English wine tour company combined with the fact that we are based in Mendoza, means that with our extensive contacts within the wine industry we can and do rapidly respond to any eventuality. Restaurants normally closed on Sundays and Mondays have opened up especially for us and our clients. We also arrange private dinners in winery cellars or amongst the vineyards and blind tastings on request. We often invite Argentine winemakers to join our group for the entire day and add some local colour to the tour. Our weekly wine club was the first of its kind in Mendoza and it proved a great way to mix local knowledge with foreign curiosity.

 

Last but not least is the wine itself. It is our stated mission to get a glass of Argentina´s finest in the clients hand as soon as it is physically possible. Our desire for you to try the very best in Argentine wine is pursued with missionary zeal. Not just the very best and expensive but the most unusual. We arrange visits to wineries that do not take visitors and try the most strange and exotic varietals never heard of before. We introduce you to limited editions from the owners private collection, large formats and rare years. We conduct barrel tastings, tank tastings and bottle tastings of superb wines. What you cannot drink we arrange to ship home. We are always on the look out for up and coming labels and were the first to discover and take people to new wineries such as Renacer and Enrique Foster.

 

Often we are still helping people ship home again a year later. We place a lot of importance on “after sales service” and when an client has cleared his/her cellar of Argentine wine much earlier than expected (not unusual) we will help them restock. We also put people in touch with distributors and help them communicate with wineries. (We have been known to mediate in disputes with Chilean car rental companies and retrieve lost property in Buenos Aires).
