THE GRAPEVINE WINE TOURS LTD. is Mendoza´s premier luxury Destination Management Company specialising in
highly personalised Wine Tours of Mendoza Wine Country, with each itinerary carefully designed according to our clients preferences.
The company was registered as a Limited Company in the UK in September 2004 by
Kelly Thornhill. Since then Kelly has worked consistently at building up what is today a solid reputation as the expert in Luxury English language Wine Tours in Argentine Wine Country.
The company´s dedicated aim is that clients feel secure that their tour is managed as it would be back home - with care and "First World" attention to detail. To further that aim Kelly has gathered around her a small team of professional (English speaking) wine hosts and support staff whose priority is to ensure their clients get the very best wine tour possible, a memorable Mendoza experience.

The Grapevine Wine Tours is the specialist wine tourism division of The Grapevine Argentina, a fully-bonded Travel Agency specialising in Luxury Travel to Argentina.
The Agency is registered with Argentina´s Ministry of Tourism (Leg. 13577) meeting all National and Provincial regulations, simply input "Grapevine" to verify.
TRANSPORT
Our transport is fully equipped with air conditioning/heater, professional chauffers, refreshments and cooler.
Vehicles are fully insured and registered with the Ministry of Transport and carry First Aid kits and fire extingishers.

GUIDES/HOSTS
Company guides/hosts are carefully selected according to their personality, communication skills and cultural background.
Our hosts have an in-depth knowledgable of Argentine wine and are registered tour guides.
24-HOUR ASSISTANCE
The company provides two cel-phone numbers to clients upon their arrival in Mendoza in the case that they require any assistance out of office hours.
These cel phones are manned 24 hours a day by English-speakers.
OFFICE TEAM
We have three full-time bi-linugal staff members in our offices in Mendoza 1)Ceclia Fernandéz handling logistics/operations & reservations 2) assisting with client enquiries/itineraries 3) Bibiana Estrella in administration.
These also act as on-going support for guides/hosts and chauffers out on the field with clients.
THE GRAPEVINE TEAM
Kelly Thornhill moved to Mendoza five years ago, intrigued by all that she had read and heard about the Wine Country. She has a Technical Diploma in "Leisure & Tourism" from the UK and a Degree in Public Relations. She has been specialising in South American tourism for the last eight years, having worked in the travel industry in Venezuela, Colombia and Ecuador. Founder and Director of The Grapevine Wine Tours, Kelly handles and oversees all tours and enquiries. She works closely with each client, developing and perfecting each itinerary ensuring each request is met with the closest attention to detail and "first World service".
Charles is an English wine fanatic and trained chef who worked in the hospitality industry for many years. He moved to South America 17 years ago and worked as head of tourism for Montes of Chile, building up an impressive tourism department from nothing.
Sensing the future of wine tourism lies in Argentina, he moved to the other side of the Andes and now conducts our Premium and Super Premium Wine Tours combining Chile & Argentina. Having worked in 15 countries, Charles is a wealth of information concerning different cultures and retains his passion for good food, wine and humour, which he also writes about.
