O.FOURNIER
Consulta is a southern sub-region of Valle de Uco and an area admired for the quality of its grapes. Bodegas such as Alta Vista and Achaval Ferrer source their grapes there and now it is the site of what must be one of Argentina`s most unusual wineries. O.Fourmier looks like a cross between an airport control tower and a spaceship. If Darth Vader owned a winery this is what it would look like.
Thankfully, O.Fourniers originality does not stop at architecture. The Spanish owned bodega is experimenting with the bush system vine and concentrating on making some truly remarkable Tempranillos. Their top line is A Crux, followed by B Crux and the perfectly decent Urbano range.
