Rutini, an old and famous winery decided a very long time ago to save each and every piece of equipment used in both the vineyard and the winery itself. This extensive collection is very well displayed in this fine and very popular museum. Perhaps the item that generates most comments (not always printable) is the cow hide, nailed to a strong, square wooden frame, with the hair on the inside. A century (and more) ago men would be secured by rope to a tree, or post and would then be standing bare-foot in the contraption and pressing the wine away from the skins, the juice flowing out from the cows original rear end into clay vessels (also displayed), whilst the skins were trapped by the hairs---enjoy your wine!
