"What were the best parts of the tour?"
"The personal attention, and high knowleadgeability and personability of some of the winery guides. At Dolium we had a "technical tasting" with the owner Ricardo which was very insightful. At Terrazos De Los Andes we had a tasting with Gascon, who was extremely knowledgeable - trained in the US. Achaval Ferrer where we had a tasting from the barrels with Patricia - tasting the components of a blended wine, and then the final product itself. A tour through the vines at Tapiz, looking at differences between what the vines for the different varietals look like. We learned a lot about the wine making process by asking questions. I also recommend the wine club, with Charlie - a group tasting/social event in the evening. We also asked/paid to have personalized tours, just the 2 of us and the guide. They let us craft our own itinerary based on the wineries we wanted to visit. The amazing mountain scenery at Tupungato wineries - VALLE DE UCO. Overall Charlie definitely went the extra mile for us - we were very satisfied."
