Grape Picking

This activity takes place at winery FAMILIA ZUCCARDI in the wine region of Maipú, the area where most of the immigrants settled upon their arrival in the late nineteenth century. As many olive groves as there are vineyards testify to the huge and welcome Italian influence. Perhaps it is their love and skill with the vine that gives Mendoza Malbec its´ passion .

This program is available between February 15th and April 15th, during the harvest season. On arrival visitors are welcomed with a traditional breakfast, followed by a guided tour of the winery and a tasting among the vines. Then, under professional supervision, visitors are provided with the necessary tools to become an agronomist during the harvest experience. The bunches they collect are transported to the winery and incorporated into the process of wine making. Finally, our guests are invited to enjoy a hearty lunch of regional cuisine at our restaurant “Casa del Visitante”, located at the centre of the vineyards.
