Flichman
Finca Flichman is one of the oldest and most respectable wineries in Argentina. Started in 1873 by the Flichman family it is now a subsiduary of Sogrape, Portugal`s largest wine maker. The bodega is located in Maipu, south of the river Mendoza in an area called Barrancas. Flichman`s wines are very popular in Argentina and demand to be drank whilst young, especially the Finca Flichman and Caballero de la Cepa range (it means "knight of the vine"). Flichan produce a large range of varietals but their Malbec and Chardonnay are best. All are grown in the vineyards that surround the bodega. Dedicado is the top red, a gentle blend of Cabernet Sauvignon, Syrah, Merlot and Malbec.
