Gourmet Cookery Class at Restaurant La Bourgogne

La Bourgogne was recently voted "best winery restaurant in the World". It is situate inside winery Carlos Pulenta, a very handsome winery, with great use of native woods and local stone, cavity wall self-insulating cellars make this a clean-line, interesting and attractive building. Wines totally speak for themselves, insomuch as they are selected by the LA BOURGOGNE restaurant to accompany their Haute Cuisine menu. Under the supervision of their chef you will prepare some of the gourmet dishes on the menu and then sit down to lunch in the restaurant, which overlooks the surrounding vineyards.  Return to hotel 5pm.

Cookery class with Max Casa - Club Tapiz

This course takes place in Terruño restaurant at Club Tapiz (in the wine growing region of Maipú), and is lead by chef Max Casa and his team of professionals.   The course is aimed  at tourists interested in International gourmet cuisine. The class takes you step by step through traditional Argentine recipes, using local  ingredients and traditional cooking methods such as, el disco, (stew) el horno de barro (oven-cooked) or parilla (grilled).   at the end of the course  you will enjoy your masterpieces at Terruño restaurant complimented by Tapiz wines.   Return to Hotel 5pm (approx).

Traditional Cookery Class at Boutique Winery Altus

Departure from hotel 9am.

Altus is a boutique winery in the wine region of Valle de Uco 1 1/2 hours drive from Mendoza City.  You will prepare dishes from their restaurant La Tupiña menu.  And later enjoy your meal in the Sala de los Fuegos with the majestic back drop of the Andes mountains.  After lunch you can include a visit to another of the wineries in this region at an additional charge.

Asado Cookery Class at Winery Familia Zuccardi

Departure from Hotel 10.30am.

Learn the secrets of the famous Argentine ASADO (BBQ). The class will include preparation of the vegetables, empanadas and meat for the asado.  You will also learn the chefs secrets on how to prepare the wood fired parrilla.
