Philippe and Brigitte Subra fell in love with Mendoza whilst they were making sparks in another industry here, they decided to stay and looked long and hard for a vineyard bargain. They found a wreck of a building, a vineyard with the weeds taller than the vines and set to work. This winery shows more enthusiasm than there are stars in the sky (he gazes at them), they asked the legendary Michel Rolland to help, and he is now producing some stars of his own. Philippe loves receiving visitors - and it shows in his beaming smile.
