San Rafael`s most famous winery and certainly one of the most promising. Bianchi specialise in sparkling wines and their New Age Bloody and New Age White are huge sellers in the Argentine market. More refined is their Bianchi Extra Brut, made from Chardonnay and Pinot Noir.
Bianchi is at the fore when it comes to vineyard management and have hired the likes of Paul Hobbs to improve their wines. The success of the sparkling is moving on to their still wine. They make and excellent Sauvignon Blanc with mineral undertones - an unusual occurrence with Argentine whites. Their recent Familia Bianchi Malbec is a rich and delicious example of Argentine wine.
