The Reina Rutini family are legendary in the Argentine wine industry. San Felipe is one of the better known labels on the domestic market and the wine museum La Rural one of the most visited tourist attractions in Mendoza. Like many wine families, Flichman, Norton and Trapiche for example, the Reina Rutini family have moved on however. They sold their large traditional winery to the Esmeraldas group and decided to concentrate on making better quality, boutique wines. The result of this is Andeluna.

Located in the dramatic setting of Tupungato, Valle de Uco, the winery is a joint venture with Ward Lay of Pepsico fame. The brand new building has one of the most welcoming tasting rooms in Mendoza and their Cabernet Sauvignon is one of the best examples of this varietal coming out of Mendoza.
